A good tanning lotion can make a significant difference in the results of your tan. Indoor tanning lotions are specially designed for indoor tanning beds and booths to help deepen and accelerate your tan while moisturizing and softening your skin. Outdoor Tanning Lotions

Sun Splash Tans understands that there are times when you will be out in the sun. While indoor tanning lotions are designed to maximize your tan (with little or no SPF,) when you're outdoors in unpredictable sun exposure you may actually want to protect yourself from overexposure. As such, Sun Splash Tans carries a variety of outdoor tanning lotions with various levels of SPF's so you can find the fit that's right for you. If you do plan to be outdoors and use SPF lotions, be sure to apply sunscreen approximately 20 minutes heading out into the sun. This allows the sunscreen time to interact with your skin to create the sun blocking barrier. When selecting your SPF, it's good to keep in mind the following:

• SPF 2 blocks approximately 50 percent of UV rays
• SPF 10 blocks out about 85 percent of UV rays
• SPF 15 blocks out approximately 95 percent of UV rays
• SPF 30 blocks about 97 percent of UV rays

Sunless lotions -- For those that just don't have the time or ability to frequent Sun Splash as often as desired, we offer a variety of homecare sunless tanning bronzer products, including the industry leader California Tan.

Lip Balm -- Protect your lips! Lips do not produce melanin meaning they will not tan. However your lips WILL burn easily unless you protect them with lip balm or sunscreens
